Furnace Cool-Down

On occasions an existing furnace may not be scheduled to be totally rebuilt and parts of the original structure may require to be saved for a further furnace campaign life. If this is the case, then specialist combustion equipment will be required to reduce the furnace temperature on a gradual and controlled basis.

DISMATEC supply the specialist service of furnace cool-down, using a specialist sub-contractor having extensive experience in this field together and holding the specialist equipment to carry out the task.

We endorse this service by introducing a team of our experienced refractory and steelwork personnel to work with the furnace cool-down specialist sub-contractor. This enables any refractory or steelwork problem that may be experienced to be attended to immediately, during the furnace cool-down period.
